Goodbye Philbert......

Postby Mayfly » Fri Jun 29, 2012 8:50 am

For anyone who followed 558 in her VDF days you will remember Philbert one of 558s ground crew and electricians [and I believe Taffs boss].

It is with sad regret that Phil[bert] passed away yesterday in Austrailia where he had lived for the last 17 or so years.

Phil was a larger than life Cornish man who could sell ice to Eskimos and he was a great friend, DT and I will greatly miss him.

God Bless Phil :YMHUG:
In memory of a very dear friend - Mike Pearson

Very fond memories of Robbie Gilvary - DTs 1st Vulcan Captain who taught DT all he knew.
