XL426 question

Postby 10680 » Fri Jun 08, 2012 10:33 am

Does anyone know if you can visit/view XL426?

I will be going to Southend later in the year but their website shows no open days and no visiting details.
I'd rather be skiing

One of the chaps posted on UKAR. due to airport redevelopment.

The airport is now pretty much 'locked-down' to anyone without official security i.d. The VRT are working on specified requirements for holding open days around XL426, but as things stand she is 'airside' and as such not accessable by the public, along with the entire airport.

Hope it's okay to copy and paste from other fora here?

Regards Phill
