Ah yes, the miracle that is: WD-40!!

It's wonderful!!

And Jigsaw, you'd always be welcomed if you can make it. We need all the help you can get. That goes for the whole of CWJ though. We could really use more volunteers.

What I was planning was to open her up if I'm asked to. I'm going as a visitor to the LPG but if anyone wants a look round, I'll be happy to let you in

But will you let him out again without money changing hands?

I've added a couple more links to other websites on the 'links' page, some nice photos of some old prop jobs if you like that sort of thing.

24.02.10

No photos today I'm afraid. Didn't even occur to me to take any. Sorry!

Anyhoo, Gregg and I started fibreglassing the radome. Hopefully, on Sunday, we'll be able to borrow one of the sanders in the hangar and have it ready for painting.

We also did a bit more work on the steps. Found a working battery and hooked it up. It works beautifully, just need a few replacement bulbs which I'll pick up on Friday.

Nice couple of hours work, all in all.

Hi Gaz

If you are opening up the guppy on the 10th, I have a six year old that would love to look in the Fat plane (as he calls it)

No stress if not, i'm sure we will be down again

Yeah, for now anyway. Tina is all sanded down now and is awaiting the spray gun. The Iskra has been stripped completely and is due to be painted soon. The good JP has started to be re-painted and the Vixen has been painted.

Not much time left to finish them all, paying customers going in soon

Like I said, I know he was aiming at Gregg, it was the "You and your wannabe mates" that made me think it was directed at me and all of the CWJ lads.

Anyway, it's a bygone!

Why not show it to the lads at brunty and ask their opinion, I'm fairly sure they would be less than impressed. X(
