YES young Lady, we heard you from the top of Cambridgeshire!!

[Hihonyr8811]

That wouldn't suprise me actually

[Thumper]

Bit late but yeah it was an awesome race, I too was shouting at the tele over Haydens move, telling Lorenzo to fall off and stay away from him!

[Hihonyr8811]

WOW, you have to feel for Dani Pedrosa, broken collarbone after falling in FP1
That's his championship over, shame.
Wasn't a fan, but don't like to see anyone get hurt.
Especailly as he was the only one who could take the championship from Lorenzo (who I'm really starting to dislike ).

[Thumper]

I am so tired!! Stayed up till 3:50am to watch the 125, Moto 2 and Moto GP races. Went to sleep at 7am and woke up now and can't get back to sleep!!!

Still it was good racing. Great to see Colin Edwards actually produce a result and for once finish in his starting place (5th).

It is bad luck for Pedrosa and I do feel sorry for him, but he has as much personality as a dead fish so it's nice to get some interviews with some more animated people (although that does not include Casey Stoner).

I like Lorenzo, he's cheeky and provides much needed excitement to the rather processional racing we see these days

[Hihonyr8811]

Same here
Although I will admit to falling asleep and missing the Moto2s

Brilliant battle with Lorenzo and Rossi though

I agree about the dead fish bit

I think Nicky might need some comforting
Not a great weekend in the Hayden household, Rog is still at the back of the pack in WSBK (I follow him on twitter and he doesn't sound that happy )

Don't know if it was worth getting up at stupid o'clock to watch it but glad I did
Oh and good job by Bradley Smith too

A little undecided there young lady!

[Thumper]

I'm having to watch it again now as someone else was asleep on the sofa dribbling like an idiot while I was watching it. It's all good though, gives me a chance to pay more attention to the 125's as I was busy making 4am snacks and strong coffee and missed the first half

Feel sorry for Nicky, he has had such a good season. Perhaps wrong tyre choice or just a bad day, hopefully he'll bounce back in the next round!

[Spitfire]

Formula 1 .... PAH .... boring boring boring

The Doctor is back ....... 6th on the grid ....drops to 9th ..... back to 3rd in 3 laps

Gets 2nd .... gets the lead ..... drops back to 2nd ..... retakes the lead ... AND WINS

SHEER CLASS - sheer genius - sheer skill - Rossi is THE man ...
..... and such a nice bloke too

You don't get that in F1 .... televised traffic jam - again ... a long thin single file crocodile after the first lap - pole to a win - Yawn yawn

[Hihonyr8811]

And he has such a potty mouth

Was just saying, the BBC need a 5 second delay when they interview him to beep out the naughty words

Was a great ride from him

[Thumper]

Hahahaha Rossi's interviews are so funny!

You are right though H, he speaks so fast they would need more than a 5 minute delay to decipher everything he has just sped through!

That was an awesome race, one of the best of this season.

Gutted for Edwards, OK I know he has never really shone in Moto GP but he has been incredibly consistent and for him to crash is so unusual!!

But... I did laugh (out loud) when Stoner crashed. Miserable bar steward, so far up his own butt.

Rossi was a joy to watch, I have lost count now how many times he has risen from the back of the pack to take the win.

You guys n girls need to get the Moto GP oriented DVD called "Faster" it's brilliant!

[Hihonyr8811]

I tuned in with 17 laps to go or something, and first thing I said was I can only see one red Ducati

I can't wait for 2011 so I can wath a full season, I've really got into MotoGP, All your fault

I'm really loving Rossi, knew of him before, but only been the last few races that I've really had the oportunity to really watch him (was very impressed by him at Leguna).
Not to mention his fruty language, he keeps forgetting he's not allowed to swear
Looking forward to seeing him with Ducati, I think him and Nicky will make a great team (again), not sure the yellow and red will go though

I've seen clips of Faster (and the other one the doctor, the tornado and the Kentucky kid), might drop some hints to my friend, she never knows what to get me for birthdays and christmas's

[Thumper]

I have both and they're really good!! I also have the WSBK season from 2002 (your xmas list is growing lol) which is the year Colin Edwards won it, that was a really exciting season too, proper racing, not this pansy stuff these days!

Ducati have a lot more technical problems than Yamaha which is a worry for Rossi, I also feel quite bad for Nicky because if you have someone "big" like Stoner or Rossi as your team mate then you take second place and second best with the bike. Nicky's bike is less developed and tested compared to Stoners. People think there's no difference but it is quite big in the factory teams. Other teams like Tech Tois provide the same bikes, time and effort for both riders (Edwards and Spies).

H do you look at the website crash.net? Thats an excellent source of information, interviews, videos & pictures for both F1 and Moto GP plus all other automotive sports too

[Hihonyr8811]

I think she's got a list of things for the next 10 chrismas's so far
I found a cheap copy of the Hayden Bros book that I can't order myself as I don't own a credit card so I've said I'll give her the cash if she orders it for me

Yeah I like to have look at Crash.net from tim to time
Although mainly or the F1 news, as for some strange reason F1.com is very slow at news

I'm debating whether to get up at stupid o'clock again this Sunday for Phillip Island GP. I think it's on at 5am for some other daft time

Matt said in Aragon I think it was, that Nicky had finlly got some updates to his bike which paid off.
Shame as that move of Lorenz shows he's much better than his bike

I want to see the TV movie he dd for MTV, but I can only find it for region 1 not 0 or ours (2 I think it is) which is a shame.
Talking of WSBKs, I think I've slightly fallen in love with Nicky's little brother Roger
Kevin Schwantz needs to go full time with the MOTO2 team they had at Indy, Rog looked like he really fitted in (other than the first lap incident ), there's a pic on his twitter with the bike on his head

Ouch

And poor Nicky

"Nicky Hayden
food poison got me down and out... made for a long flight to Australia 2 say the least..........
5 hours ago via web"

Awwwwww

[Hihonyr8811]

Qualifying was rained off, so grid decided by the combined times in the practice sessions.

Lorenzo, Hayden, Rossi on front row

[Hihonyr8811]

What a race so far, and it's only a handfull of laps in

Simonccelli is mental

Poor Nicky looked to be on for a podium is off, ad is furious with himself

[Hihonyr8811]

The new Ducati leathers.

Couldn't work out how the yellow was going to work, but could have looked worse I guess. Not really two colours that should be seen together

And I wish Nicky didn't look so flaming miserable

But at least it isn't Paris Hilton pink, like the leathers the riders will be wearing for her 125 team

[Hihonyr8811]

My eyes

At least I won't get them mixed up like I kept doing with Stoner last year .

[Thumper]

Tip for you H, Stoner is the one upside down in the gravel trap

Leathers & Bike are revolting!!

Can't go wrong with the lovely Mr. Edwards

[Hihonyr8811]

Poor casey

Yeah, now that's class

I've finally worked out what the colours remind me of, you know those fruit salad sweets

[Thumper]

Ohhhhhhhh yeah you're right!! Man, thats gonna stick with me now, fruit salad bike

[Hihonyr8811]

Quali in Qatar.

Stoner on pole.

Dani Pedrosa 2nd on the grid

Lorenzo 3rd

Cal Crutchlow is starting in 8th

Rossi in 9th.

And Nicky Hayden 13th

There's definitely something up with those Ducati's.

Can't remember ff the top of my head where everyone else will start

[Hihonyr8811]

So Casey Stoner is calling it a day at the end of 2012. I didn't know he was only 26
Mixed feelings about it myself, wasn't what you'd call a fan, but I have respect for him as a rider, and I think he will be missed, be interesting who gets his ride next year though.
