Classic Fighters Airshow website

Can't recall if I posted the link to this site or not. Oh well the more the merrier. Comment in the news section say's that although it isn't totally ruled out, Jerry Yagen's Mosquito might not make it to the show in time. However the news that 7 Fokker Triplanes will be there makes up for it in my book. :D

SEVEN!!!!

We had one tri-plane at Waddington a couple of years ago (Don't recall if it was a fokker or not - Pam?) and it was an amazing sight!

I wonder if my wife would let me travel over..........
NB; Any negative comments I post about the Vulcan are posted SOLELY to wind Gregg up!

Waddington had a Triplane last year ... Sopwith?

When we called into Avspecs last year they said they hoped to have the Mozzie flying by Easter this year to catch a first airshow flight in NZ, will be a shame if she's not ready, but that's aviation, mostly things aren't ready on time. However taking into account test flights and display work up I would think the chances are slim but fingers crossed.

Edit - My pics now show it was in German markings ;)
In memory of a very dear friend - Mike Pearson

Very fond memories of Robbie Gilvary - DTs 1st Vulcan Captain who taught DT all he knew.

Just another quick update as I leave to go up to Omaka: The FW190, and P40C Tomahawk have both flown now and I just heard the Strikemaster has also flown with its new engine (flown in from the UK!)
Weather looks like its going to give us some rain but fingers crossed it doesn't have too much effect on the show!
Stay tuned for updates (photos!!)
