Got tickets for the Sunday show, off into the Hurricane stand this year. Its got a bit of a nightmare at the barriers of late. Last year I went, there were tents, umbrella's, windslammers, with a small comunity growing within its boundry, the whole job lot. I know that if....and I say if, its sunny then you may want shade....but come on. (thats just a bit of a moan, on my high horse and all that, I do understand that some like the shade and to sleep through the show.) So I am hoping for a more relaxed event, may even take tea and buscuits. :D

Well i'm not 6"6" so your fine there. Was going to do the same at RIAT, bit expensive though I thought. :)

I think RIAT is expensive full stop - it may be huge but I find it a bit daunting........ in comparison with many events Waddington have their ticket prices right & you get value for money.

PS you don't have to 6'6" to block my view I'm only 5'2" =))

Don't know what day yet, but I'll probably be there on one of them :D (been Saturday the last two years).

I'm also going to try and get to arrivals again as that was better than the actual show =)) =))

Gill and I may well be there - not 100% finalised yet, but provisionally meeting up with friends who live in Rothwell: local show for them and probably our last opportunity to see them before the baby arrives!

Shame about the 757 :( Not surpised if 558 doesn't make it though.

I'm going on the Saturday with my son, mum, dad, sister, brother in law and step nephew.

Personally, I think this year looks like the best lineup they've had in years! Thumbs up to the organiser and his gnome :D
NB; Any negative comments I post about the Vulcan are posted SOLELY to wind Gregg up!

I am going Saturday and play with my new camcorder, having missed a chance of filming what has been flying around Waddington recently, and then working on the BAE Systems stand in 3 hangar Sunday.
