Start out the night before, just plan to be LATE on the PREVIOUS DAY! ;)

=)) =))

What is the plan for the 9th anyway?

Seeing as I've only been to Cottesmore 4 times, and twice it was dark (both times we were coming home from somewhere else and we stopped to drink our flask of tea) =)) =)) where are we meeting??

Nothing new there then =)) =))

Also depends what the weather is like. If it's like this we can't even get out of our road for compacted snow and ice :( :((

As I intend to make the 3 - 4 hour trek from the south I will need to know the weather. Don't want to get marooned on the A1. (or M1/M11)
I'd rather be skiing

I had to take Michael (Hula-Hoop) across country to an Orthodontic appointment in Melton Mowbray this morning and then as if by magic the car seemed to find its way to RAF Cottesmore. We called in to collect the prints I had left for signing by the Aircrew and I introduced Mike to the guys. He sat in on the weather brief and then was given a look round the hangar and about half an hour in the cockpit whilst JJ explained his office and answered questions.

The plan for Thursday the 9th of December is looking good subject to the weather. 1(F) Sqn are planning to fly a NINE ship formation in the shape of a figure 1. TOT is 14:30 at the moment, so all things falling in to place we should have a worthwhile day at Cottesmore!

I can't for the life of me think why he wouldn't let me switch the MASB ( master armament safety break) to live.
