My First Posting......

I've just registered on the site and had a very brief lookaround - Impressed I am.

Just wanted to point any interested viewers to my XM655 website where - in the fullness of time I'll be uploading lots of photos taken at Sunday's 'Wellesbourne Wings & Wheels' event. I selected just 3 images last night that should stimulate some interest before I crashed out so there are lots more images to come in the next few days.....

http://vulcanxm655.fotopic.net/

Hope you enjoy taking a look. (Constructive criticism ONLY accepted)

Was really goo to meet up with everyone after what seems like an eternity. Apologies for not saying goodbye to some of you - KiddieCoaster has spied the giant slide and was determined to go on it - dragging me all the way there. Naturally I had to go on with him - for safety reasons. ;)

Special thanks from me for the day go to the Wellesbourne Fire Crew who let KC sit up in the tender :ymapplause: . He seemed very pleased to hop up in the back and promptly strapped himself in. The look on his face was priceless :D , and was almost my highlight of the day, when he was taken for a spin around the pan in it.

Highlight in the end, not surprisingly was the fast taxi (although the slow speed looked pretty quick too - nosewheel going light :-o ). I was really chuffed for the MaPS team for getting the gremlins fixed and putting on the show. I was also glad that for the first time, we managed to get KiddieCoaster to put on and keep on his ear defenders without resorting to 'clamping'. A milestone for us. \:D/ He hs now been 'blooded' on vulcans as well. On the walk around after the fast taxi, whilst looking up the ladder into the cockpit, KC decided to rest his hand on the nose leg. Got the grease on his hands, awwwwww. Then wiped it off on daddy's shirt :((

See you all again over the summer at some point.

Garry. :)

Sorry about that but can we have the grease back. =)) =))
Glad you enjoyed the day we did.
DT only used fuel from the forward tanks so the nose got lighter and lighter and thats why the fast run was so good.

Excuse me, my good man. We didn't spend bloody hours on Friday making up both a camera mount AND a safety strap just for you to abuse it.

Go wash your mouth - Stella is quite good. ;)
