Usually, Guppy first thing, setting up. Then I get roped in to helping elsewhere. I can usually be found in a transit van ferrying sandwiches and tea to the aircrew ;)

Here are some comments passed to me from Oil's Dad, which he's kindly given me permission to share with you:
"it was a very memorable day,
for all the right reasons. I have to say that it was nice to also meet
some of the other guys on your forum - a very friendly bunch, so I can
see why Oliver is often talking (positively) about Iconic Aircraft."
&
"please send my apologies to Gaz over the missed Buccaneer appointment - at
least the latter gives us an excuse to go back in May, not that we
needed one!"

I should really have said 'Is that THE Howard Curtis. I was putting 2+2 together as I typed my response. ie HJ Curtis, is that Howard whose photos are WELL respected by us pre-digital 'wrinklies'.

We never met, to my knowledge , but we visited a lot of the same venues 20 or so years ago.

Did your Dad know Michael Hill of Strike, then Support Command, High Wycombe?

If anyone 'Googles' an aircraft serial from the 80s and 90s you are almost certain to see a Howard Curtis photo. Usually on Airliners.net. Where all the best photos end up.
