If TOT is 14:30, I might just be in with a shout, if I can finish work early enough... ;) Just need to convince the gaffer I've got 'an important appointment'... ;)

Thursday the 9th of December would appear to be the day when Four Sqn will deliver its aircraft to RAF Cottesmore, so lots to see and do! :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

No timings as of this morning, further details to follow when I get them! ;)

From a structural standpoint, it's at least, as big as yours!

They will form up clear of Cottesmore, but I don't believe they are planning to grace any one else with the spectacle!

Anyone know what the roads are like between Lincoln - Granthan - A1 - Cottesmore??

At this reate we're not going anywhere let alone Cottesmore as we can't get out of our street, there's a sideways lorry blocking one end apparently (although can't see it from my house) =)) as it's clearly skidded on the ice which is about an inch thick X(

I think the main roads are passable with care Helen but I stress the CARE - the problem I have is getting to main roads the same as you it's -8C here and DT hasn't gone work so that says how bad it is!!! :)) He'll do anything to get to work and away from me normally!!! :)) :)) :))

:)) :))
Yeah -8 feels about right here too =))
The sun is deceptive X( ~x( :))

We're hoping that they are passible, at some point we have to get the car out as we're running out of food =)) =))
There's only so much we can carry :(( :((
Wait let me rephrase that, there's only so much I can carry =)) =)) mum had one carrier bag, I had a back pack and two canvas ones =))

Well at any rate there's no way we'll be there for 9am, if we make it it'll be more like 1pm. and can't see us staying long either :(

On the plus side, there was one hell of a noise coming from Waddington a few minutes ago, so someone's doing something.

The roads crossing the Newark to Lincoln railway line looked treachorous from the train on Sunday. Although main roads looked better (those that we could see)
I'd rather be skiing

Cottesmore was indeed -8°C this morning, Wittering is about -3°C, roads are perfectly passable with CARE! :D

Have just been to Wittering to watch the next practice for the 16 ship formation, they started with only 7 jets and one of them went U/S. Then the remaining 6 shut down as you can't practice two boxes of four with only six jets.

Latest news is that the jets from Wittering will be landing at Cottesmore on Thursday the 9th and the slot they have is between 14:00 and 16:00Hrs!

Heads up!!

Just been reading on FC that they seem to think the police are clamping down and won't be allowing any parking on the side of the road for the 16 ship flypast -

Over to you XP to do some investigation perhaps!!

Hence why Dad suggests that you all get there early.

If the Police are stopping people they will end up with cars all over the place rather than sensibly parked off the road! :D
