East Midlands... to Malta!

Thought I'd share a few shots of 2 rather good museums, one considerably warmer than the other! With a bit of time to kill before flying out to Malta we had a look round the East Midlands Aeropark. A friendly little museum, it was interesting to have a look inside the Nimrod R.1 and see how different it was inside to our familiar MR.2 XV250. But first, a Vulcan greets you...

We scurried off to hide in the romney building until the rain passed. Once the sun came out we carried on exploring

And finally from East Midlands, a Meteor TT20

Over to Malta, for another Meteor TT20!

Apologies for the poor quality of these, I didn't want to risk taking my good camera abroad. But they give you a good idea of a great little museum

I can recommend either of these museums, great aircraft and friendly staff!

I enjoyed looking at those - I've not been to East Mids and went to Malta years ago before I was so interested in a/c

I went to East Midlands for the first time on the 11th of May when I took my friend to Nottingham for her coach home. It's a lovely little museum! We didn't spend as long as we could have there as it chucked it down and I didn't take many photos so thanks for posting

And I've never been to Malta so nice to see what's there
I do like the Dak and Beech pic two of my favourites
