Wickenby Wings and Wheels (16/6/12)

We've lurked at this event for the last 5 years but never been on site before, really glad we did.
Even though it chucked it down and it was really windy, most of the aerobatics went ahead which was brilliant :ymapplause: :ymapplause: to the pilots.

It's quite long, I blame the Blades :))

We were parked on the secondary runway which mum was pleased about as it was rather damp =))

I thought to myself,I'll just take this one picture and come back when it was less busy and photograph the rest of them, then it rained and they were all put away ~x( :)) so I never did get to see what was in there :((

It was too windy for the wing walkers sadly.

Just before we left about 30 vintage tractors arrived :-o and we thought we'd manage to get out before them, but no such luck :))

Very interesting helen, I wonder why there is a 30mm Rarden Cannon round there, it's from a tank! :-o

Did you get anyshots of the Tempest? ;)

This is pretty much the extent of the photos I took, I don't recall seeing a Tempest, unless it was in the hangar it probably was only Sunday only :(
I also missed the BBMF Dakota on Sunday too :(( :((
