RAF Wittering Families Day 2012

Postby Xplumberlives » Fri Jun 08, 2012 3:32 pm

Jet Morgan and I went to this event knowing that the weather would be the limiting factor!
Most of the flying items cancelled, but we were treated to a Tornado from RAF Marham, a 78 Sqn Merlin from RAF Benson and a black Hawk.

The International Plastic Modellers Society Special Interest Group (Harrier) put together a great display including their version of the famous 16 ship formation.

Still a nice day out though. :)

Thanks Dave for your company, and showing me around the airfield and preserved Harriers. :)
