Dream Airshow

Postby Thumper » Sun Jan 09, 2011 9:51 pm

Seeing as there is somewhat of a debate going on about airshows and their line-ups past/present/future... over to you!

1) Pick an airfield
2) You can have up to 4 "acts" per category unless stated otherwise
3) All aircraft must be "flying" at the moment and used for air shows, countries doesn't matter
4) When it starts and finishes
5) Facilities (toilets, burgers, fairground, stalls etc)
6) State the price of the tickets

Categories:

Opening act (1 only)
Aerobatics
Gliders
Fast Jets
Props
Helo's
Display Teams
Ground Display Acts
Warbirds
Passenger/Commercial
Miscellaneous
Closing act (1 only)

Here's my "airshow".

July 2011 - Bruntingthorpe
Starts 10:00 - Finishes 17:00
Ticket Price: Adults £25 Children £15

Facilities: Lots of toilets with plenty of bog rolls and anti-bacterial hand gel. A small fun fair well away from the flight line, nice selection of statics, a flightline walk charged at £2 p.p, aviation related stands, a handful of non-aviation stands (sweets, toys, clothing etc) and fast food, coffee stalls which are not allowed to be overpriced ;)

Opening Act: Red Arrows
Running Order:
The Blades
Apache
Kiwi 757
Belgian F-16
Hurricane
Swift Glider
Lightning High Speed Taxi
Tucano
Russian Knights
Spitfire
XH558 Vulcan
Royal Jordanian Falcons
Team Guinot wingwalkers (they have to be there really)
F-86A Sabre
Black Cats
Catalina
Freece Tricolori
RAF Falcons
AN-225
P-51D Mustang
F-22 Raptor
Brendan O'Briens Piper Cub and truck landing
Buccaneer High Speed Taxi
Harvard
Blue Angels
USAF Dog Team (ground act)

Closing Act: BoB Mega Memorial Flight (Lancaster, Hurricane, Spitfire, Dakota, B-17, B-25)

Who wants to come to my airshow then? :))

I'm bored and there's nothing on TV worth watching :D

I'll have a team of 22 Vulcans doing a loop just like the Black Arrows, in fact let's combine them and have 44 jets doing a loop! ;)

Spit/Hurricane displays
Flypasts from both Lancs by them selves.
Closing act about 5pm ish :)) - Balbo, as many aircraft as possible like at Duxford Legends :D \:D/

Might be midnight by this time mind =))
Tickes probably a couple of hundred £££ =))
Won't be any funds for loos, food or entertainment =)) =))
