Anyone driving to Leuchars for the airshow?

They have changed the arrangements this year. Last year evidently it was chaos trying to get out although we didn't suffer personally I have heard people say they were still in the queue to exit the airfield at 9pm!! :-o

So this year they have 3 off site park & rides more info here....

We are :D

Looks like we're the white route then - more or less the route we usually take but not quite. :p We got out about 8pm last year. Leuchars is always difficult - problem with having water on 50% of its boundaries.

I went in 2008, it was a nightmare to get out. We left the show at 17.00, got out of the airfield at 19.45! Lets hope it has made it easier to get out then. :)

We were parked on the traders site because DT was manning a Waddington stall, so we actually beat most of traders to packing up - in fact we were out eating at 7.00pm :D

you've been quiet Jim - been on shift?
