So, Which ones are you doing this year?

Postby Gaz » Tue Mar 16, 2010 3:57 pm

After the Waddo and RIAT threads, I thought I'd start one for you to say which ones you ARE going to.

I'm doing the 2 at Brunty (If they count), Waddo on the Saturday, Farnborough on the Saturday and, most likely, Duxford's Autumn show.

Hows about you?

Ooo, hadn't really thought about it until now.

I guess all the major airshows are out for me this year, which leaves Brunty 10th April and maybe Wings and Wheels at Wellesbourne on Fathers day if LMW is unable to be with me that day (which is likely).

Pam, don't forget the FAMILIES DAYS!

Wittering is 23rd of July and Cottesmore is 17th of September!

Wittering appears to have taken Cotts traditional date to fall in with Wyton and Lowestoft, will ask when I bump into someone in the know!

My Waddington tickets arrived yesterday \:D/ \:D/
Along with these A5 postcard things that have various years of the air show (Finningly and Waddington) art on them, they are really lovely. Great value for money too, £5 for 25 cards and a spitfire badge \:D/
I thought about scanning a couple but didn't know haw many copyright laws I'd bebreaking so I didn't :)) . So I really recomend getting a pack :D.

Also my East Kirkby tickets arrived on Monday (ordered EK and waddo on Friday evening so pretty impressed with EK :D )

So I am deffinitely doing

Waddington - Arrivals and Sunday.

East Kirkby - RBFAS

With that combo you wont go too far wrong. Little tip though, when taking aircraft actually flying turn off the image stabiliser. It wont help you get better shots as it'll be trying to compensate for you panning the camera. You're better off practicing a smooth panning action :D
