Classic Fighters Omaka New Zealand 2011

Just a heads up so you can start saving now! Easter 2011 is the date for the Classic Fighters Airshow held at Omaka airfield here in New Zealand. Aircraft you might find interesting and are booked to attend are Avro Anson Mk1 :-o , FW190A-8N (one of the new build ones), Yak 3 and FB26 Mosquito :-o . All are currently being worked on with the FW190 having flown but having further work carried out before being sent to NZ. Next to fly would probably be the Anson followed by the Mossie and the Yak. Hopefully no snags appear to stop any of them appearing as seeing all of them in one place will be a unique sight!! I know where I will be this time next year!!

Well I can't justify the expense, but will look forward to video coverage!

Yes this is the Avspecs Mossie. I am going so will make sure to post pics and video for you to drool over. I'm going to see if I can wangle an air-side pass this year as some closeups of certain aircraft will be the icing on the cake. :D
