It could only happen in Britain ... :( :( :( :(

Sadly it looks remarkably like the England mascot Lion
And we probably wont be needing that again after today ......... so all we'd need is a tailor made flying suit and we're away :D :D

I too hope that this is just 'high jinx' by some RAF people. Otherwise, it just goes to show that things are slowly going downhill. It wouldn't surprise me if it was a prank though. Afterall, it's not like the airforce to go around 'liberating' other sqn's posessions.

Ok Garry how do we start to 'grill' the RAF squadrons that were there?

We DO need to get Looky back..............

Anyway , back on topic .
Reading the whole news item on their website , it seems that the lion was nicked at Brize not Cosford :(
It may be a done thing in the RAF but to nick another airforces mascot [and a charity one as well] is a step to far tbh [-x
Thats is if it was a RAF Sqn prank , still cant rule out chavy no mates X(

As M.F. has said, if it was an RAF prank, a ransome note would surely have been issued by now!

I think this is a brilliant idea personally. Will only be a few pence each if enough of us chip in.

Great idea indeed. I would be willing to help if possible.

I have to agree with Pam as I have always said it myself. Why can't people leave other folks stuff alone?
