You guessed :D It is rather large but like the rest of 558 it is a very well oiled piece of machinery. It goes nicely with my maxeret(sp) clock. Before long I will have a complete Vulcan in kit form :p

This afternoon we had a lovely flypast from the red arrows (with white smoke on \:D/ ) and the Silver spit did 3 very nice low passes over our house, still not sure what they were flypasting (is that a word? :)) ) but it was nice that our house was on the way :D \:D/ (we think it was St Giles fate).

Saw the silver spit on Saturday over the village and the Lanc yesterday - she had done a flypast over Doncaster somewhere for the dedication of new memorial to a crashed Lanc in 1944 I think it was.

Had a Typhoon overhead Scunthorpe today. Hear them sometimes very high up but first time I have actually seen one low enough. Scared the crap out of my neighbour :)) :))

I read somewhere the QRA at North Holt went up the other day, but it was a false alarm and it landed after a few circuits at Marham to burn fuel.

We hardly ever see Typhoons in Lincoln either :)) unless one comes to Waddington.

I currently have 8 gliders thermalling over the factory in North Peterborough!

I guess they are on a cross country competition and trying to get some height for their next leg!
