Saw the Red Arrows fly north over Dovercourt in Essex at about 2pm today, anyone have any idea where they had come from? There also appeared to be ten of them unless my counting is a bit suspect?

The tenth Hawk is a spare with the team manager/commentator aboard!

I assume that the King Air was only pretending?

Today's spots for me (in between laying turf/sods); two Chinook and (I think) a Bulldog trainer in RAF colours over Blisworth (Northants). also earlier in the week a Tornado at LOW (very) level making a very tight turn to follow the A43 towards the M1 at junction 15A. I assume the TomTom onboard was playing up........

No pics as I was driving. Saw a Chinook and Herc over Salamis, and a C5 take off from Athens International as I was returning the hire car.

You can get arrested for plain spotting in Greece, do you have the phone No for the Consulate? :p
