Yep I always find if you lose your contration you're in a real mess

But what I was thinking was if there's a semi submerged log or something - don't care how skilled you are - if sods inverse square law comes in to play and puts something there you hadn't foreseen you're .... well .. bu&&ered . I mean look what unforeseen ripples on the lake did to Donald Campbell - and he was very experienced

Fantastc to watch though isn't it. Kind of mesmerising, like watching someone wire walking over a precipice, no chance if it went wrong, but fascinating anyway

I'll go have a look later, but I'm fairly
certain I saw a longer version of that
clip back a few months that included an
interview with the chief pilot. He indicated
that the surface tension of the water provided
a lot more support than you might think,
especially when they were flying at a particular
airspeed. I guess the physics of the whole thing
make it less dangerous than you might think!
