Hi All,
We are asking all you ethusiasts out there to help us with a donation so we can move the trident from teeside to sunderland museum... We are about 2k short of covering the transport/ crainage costs to get the aircraft moved later this year, much is in place apart as the hardest part .We have most of the 9k to complete this so will be grateful of any donation large or small. Just go to our website http://www.savethetrident.org to see how you can help and read what we have managed to do already .
We have several areas of the project already been organise with the rudder and wing tips coming over from belfast as well as pallets going to been taken to the site also more works being done on the trident this friday with wing flaps lowered and wings vented as well as clearing out ready for cutting . cheers tony
