B****r! Already busy that day. X(
But they "hope to make this an annual event". :)

I always think that an aircraft is more than just the outside of the airframe. And the policy of hanging more and more aircraft from the roof means you see less of that.
I'd rather be skiing

The Museum do indeed intend to make it an annual event, it's a good money earner with 300 people at a time! ;)

Would love to see you trying to get in to some of the airframes that are strung up! =))

Yep, got 2 tickets.

TSR will be another one off my list, just the SR71 to go then!

Shall we make this an official IA meetup?

"Major highlights for aviation enthusiasts include the opportunity to see inside the famous TSR2"

Not wishing to be cynical but there is a world of difference between "seeing inside" and sitting in

They talk about seeing the aircraft close up.

So what time are people getting there??

Expect I'll get there mid to late afternoon so I can have a wander about before the evening.

Right I'll see those that are going a bit later. I'm wearing a Vulcan first flight 2011 t shirt so shouldnt be too difficult to spot.

The museum closes at 5pm today for them to get ready for 6pm for the event.

I'm sure the first flight was a lot earlier than 2011! :-o
