It looks green in the air and blue on the ground. Good to have yet another one up and about though!

:)) Sorry - it's normally the sort of thing happens to me & you always seem to fall on your feet, arriving just in time for things!! So no pics then! :(

There sounded to be lots of activity today from Coningsby

=)) We were just coming out of Woodhall and he called up Coningsby 124.675 and I said to mum "I'm sure he just said Spitfire" but I wasn't sure, now I know he did :(( :(( :))

Was pretty busy, will put my short video up when it's ready ;) :))

I missed all the hawks taking off though, there were at least 4 that I could see, al tucked up round the back near crash gate 5.

It's a 1-for-1 though since Hurricane PZ865 is expected to be at Duxford for most of 2011 (if not all) I gather.

Just one Hurricane to play with this Summer.

PM631 was flying from Coningsby yesterday (Monday) with some twin civvy job (possibly a piper azteck?) speculation has it that it was an air to air photoshoot for a magazine :)

I would have been there the last couple of days if I didn't have to hang around for the engineer - first lovely sunny days we've had in ages!!

and also so much for everyone rattling on about BBMF not flying with civvies!!

Monday was a good day loads of tiffys about, not so good today though....

they do a photographic sortie or three every year showing off new paint schemes, they seem to like appearing in a magazine begining with F.....

I must say those pics dont look very good....

The Dack should be back soon I wonder what her new scheme will be?

They were hoping to get her back in April which is why she went earlier than planned and was around for the LLA Day

I am led to believe that the 1Sqn Spitfire LA 255 is now residing in BBMF hangar. Anyone know if this is permanent or just lodging?
