Brunty gets a Hunter

Postby XR219 » Tue Dec 28, 2010 8:56 am

I've not seen it mentioned here but Hunter GA11 WT806 was delivered from Shoreham to Bruntingthorpe on 22/12.

Should be a nice addition and good to see she's getting a bit of TLC at last; she seemed to be rather forlorn, sat outside Northbrook College's hangar last time I saw her (October 2009).

Didn't Brunthingthorpe have a MK 2 Hunter sat near the gatehouse?

I'm sure she'll get looked after :) :ymapplause:

Everything comes and goes from Bruntingthorpe, except the Guppy!

This'll be a nice one-holer to contrast with T7 XL565.

I recall a Danish single seater (E-407) back in the late 1980s but don't remember an F2 but, as others have said, quite a few aircraft come and go here so perhaps I've forgotten that one.

On the subject of Danish, I suddenly have a craving for breakfast ...

Perhaps I should come to yours? :))

Could only find cereal and croissants and today :(( :(( :((

I'd prefer the full English (as the art mistress said to the gardener).
