May last year I posted this in the spotters thread.....

Mayfly wrote:not sure this counts but I just seen a Lightning cockpit go by my house - on a trailer obviously - wonder if someone in the village has bought it? as I don't live on a main thoroughfare - hmmmmmmm :-?

Well knock me down if I didn't just see another lightning cockpit go past??????

I assumed the first one I saw the nose off the one 5 Sqn has at Waddington as it moved there around the same time, but perhaps it wasn't, I haven't a clue where this one is from or even if it's the same one, Has anyone any idea or know of a nose around these parts? - There is no reason for it to pass out house as it's fen roads, to get to most palces around here there are far better roads to use!!

Funnily enough DT said something similar!!!!

Oh and forgot to say a second car was pulling a trailer with what appeared to be weaponry on it!!! :D

Now if I wasn't in bare feet I would have followed that!!

You are a lady afterall.
I have known plenty of women that would run barefoot down a road after a weapon (or 6) ;)

There are a whopping 8 Lightning nose sections/cockpits owned in Lincolnshire on this website, could possibly be one of them! Scroll down to "nose/cockpit sections".
