Argosy and Beverley (oh and Bristols!!)

Postby Spitfire » Tue Nov 10, 2009 9:11 pm

From the other thread where Argosy came up - I was stooging around after having had the name Argosy brought to the front of my mind - and found this .....last of its kind in the world ......

And this .....

Then I got to thinking about the Beverley and couldn't find much - but did get this with some other cool types ....

Then this - she's at 3:00 after the Comet - fixed undercarriage and all :D

THEN I got onto the Bristol 170 Freighter - remember that - the Airfix 'Silver City' kit and driving Dinky cars into the nose :p :D

Image

Yay -found the Silver City one - the airfix kit was an all white colour scheme with the company logo flashes all in royal blue..... :D

A golden age :ymdaydream: :ymdaydream:

Oh it's REALLY easy - you have a sad life where you have no real friends and can't do your hobbies because of your autistic son - you work all day - have your tea - sit on the edge of your bed all evening talking to unseen gits all over the country/world ............the rest is a BREEZE =)) =)) =)) =)) =)) =)) =))
