I think that what SF is referring too.

See - I know all the proper jargon =)) =)) =))

I will always go back to this one -- I LOVE it -- coming in dirty as hell -- nice and silent -- just that lovely whistle/whine she does -- then clean up as she goes by -- a nice quiet bit again - then shovel on the coal -- pull back the stick -- and OFF we go -- straight up :D :D :D :D Sadly not allowed any more :( :(

I showed this on a model helicopter forum which is based in murka - and most of the murkins on there had not seen the Vulcan - so this particular video just 'blew them away' - that such a large beast can be that nimble :p :D

OOpppsss - shouldn't be in a C17 thread - but hey ho :)) :))

Indeed, with sidewinders she could have been a fighter!

Nice Vulcan pics! :D

Back on C17, great truck, and obviously what we need. Awful shame we make nothing from buying it and its yet another Murkin nail in the coffin of our aircraft industry and more jobs gone. :( :( Won't be long now before all the money for military support goes Stateside. Once they have control of our fighter needs too, how will we keep the ability to make world class aircraft then! :-o :-o Sad!

I have thought(as you probably have too) about that for a long time now.
It is a sad state of affairs. Unfortunately, the rot set in a long time ago. What a waste.

Yes, its funny how when we make something they want, we have to licence them to build it, then buy the next version back so their industry keeps running. When we want one of theirs, we always buy, meaning they always make money we always pay out! X(
