How good is CGI

Postby Spitfire » Thu Dec 11, 2008 5:25 pm

I find this clip fascinating as it's ALL completely CGI - incredible ;)

Notice one of the Spits in the second shot has its index mark 'J' upside down and backwards - Oooopppsss :)

Love the sound of those unreal Merlins though B-)

And here's some real Merlins over Beachy Head - just love that Hurricane wing wave B-)

Edit - Just learned about the youtube link - cool B-)

scarily realistic - if this new Dambusters film ever comes out, i imagine that they'll be relying on CGI a fair bit - they don't have much choice really, although it would be nice to see them paying to get Just Jane up and about, Canada's Lanc over here - both flying formation with 474 :D

yeah yeah, i know.............. :(
