EE Lightning DVD on offer

Postby 350wedge » Tue Nov 01, 2011 2:14 pm

Not sure if this is the correct area for this, if not please feel free to move.

I had an e mail from Planes TV this morning with a couple of special offers, one of which being an EE Lightning DVD. Looks to be fairly interesting so I've put in an order. Seems to be mostly amateur footage amongst other things so should prove to be quite interesting.

Here is a link

£4.99 instead of £15.99 :)

Just watching the DVD now.

It starts with a lot a still images and when it get to the video its basically like watching someone's home movies from the 80's. There is a LOT of amateur footage from Binbrook around 1988 and footage from some airshows such as IAT and Binbrook with 16 lightnings in formation. There is no commentary so all you get is aircraft noise. Other than Lightnings there is Tornado footage and clips of Jaguar F111 and hawk so far. Its just what happened to be flying about when the chap was there recording.

Doubt I'll finish it tonight but for a fiver you cant go wrong. Not sure I'd have paid the full price for it though!

Perhaps that's why it's on SPECIAL offer! ;)
