FRADU Hunters Part #1

Postby MOD » Thu Dec 16, 2010 11:30 pm

FRADU stands for the Fleet Requirements and Air Direction Unit and is run by civilians. Lord Cobham's Flight Refuelling took over from Airwork and now SERCO at Culdrose have the contract. The pilots were mainly ex Lightning and Hunter Jocks in my day but mainly Hawk pilots today.

These photos are from a couple of visits to VL Yeovilton in the 80's and are in no special order.
