Solent Sky Photo's

Postby 350wedge » Sun Apr 11, 2010 9:53 pm

I popped down to the Solent Sky museum on Saturday afternoon. Thought I'd better visit seeing as I walk past the place every day on the way to work!!

Last time I was there I must have been about 8 or 9 years old.... Cant see much has changed really... :))

I have a photo of me somewhere sat in a Sea Vixen cockpit they had there but which appears to now have gone somewhere esle. They only have a mock up of a Supermarine Swift which you can sit in now.

I know Gully went there a few months ago and no doubt you've seen the planes before but here is my take on a few of them... They really need to sort out some decent lighting though... ~x(

Museums are not the best places for pics at the best of times, to cluttered not enough light or space......

but you have done another good job 350
In memory of a very dear friend - Mike Pearson

Very fond memories of Robbie Gilvary - DTs 1st Vulcan Captain who taught DT all he knew.
