It looks like they're Spey 250s which would have been removed from the Nimrod MR2s when they arrived at Woodford to begin the long rebuild into MRA4s. They're not new engines, they were in service until each aircraft was ferried to Woodford and then the engines (and stands) were put up for disposal.

Jet Engine Trader of Glossop have been trying to sell a load of these for a while now.
