She got airborne at 16.04 and flew past my front window at 16.35 :D after a report of her over Scampton and heading north!!

I could hear her over Coningsby 15 minutes ago or so ago then I think she banked round eastward to Waddington but I couldn't see her.

We didn't stop for her return as I was feeling rather poorly yesterday, I couldn't even hold the camera still :)) :)) I'm blaming the weather :))

Was lovely to see her fly again, mum was very happy. We tried looking for her on the way back to Lincoln but I think she was hiding ;) Our next door neighbour two doors down said she came over our houses :)) which we already knew she would as they said just before take off they wanted a right turn out towards Scampton (and I had read it on the main forum earlier), so we picked our poison.
It was a brilliant end to a brilliant week. :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

For a good three quarters of an hour we could hear her, but could we heck as like find her :))
Turns out she was doing a practice display over Wickenby at that particular time.
On a side note, I cannot wait to see her display at Wickenby wings and wheels this year (Saturday according to their website) :D
It was one of my high lights last year. Lovely little show, but I guess we'll have to get there earlier this year =))

Wickenby is the same date as Wellesbourne WW. but it's not down on the 558 website as yet as appearing.

My first Vulcan fix of the year last night. She looked and sounded awesome. Stayed to watch her return and was treated to a T&G. Cracking! :D

Got a message on Facebook 15 minutes ago saying that she had been spotted over Spalding :( :(.
Didn't know she was going to be out today. If I had known, I might have caught a small glimpse of her :( :(.

Sorry Minty I thought I had posted the message below at 16.30. I hit submit and shot out again but when I came back in MR had posted so it was sat waiting for me to hit submit again. Wasn't announced on Twitter for some reason.

Over the fields in front of our house today.

Seen over Spalding 10 minutes ago Minty

Not your fault Pam. I am not signed up to FC. I think there are quite a few people annoyed that nothing was said about today.

She flew near me last night and also this afternoon.

This was on Twitter.

I would be interested to know 558s routing yesterday because if you read the various sightings she must have been flying through worm holes!!

Sighted over Waddington so I picked up my camera went outside and within 3 minutes she came over from the west, according to Ukar from Newark. I watched her over Coningsby and then she turned north and looked to be routing to the east side of Woodhall area. When I came in she was reported to be in the Spalding area :-o Then 3 minutes later over Waddington again and heading towards the Humber. :))

Did you not have your scanner on Helen?

I had it on about 3pm to listen out for the BBMF Dak but then I turned it off ~x( ~x( =)) =)) , I haven't got any spare batteries so I'm rationing it =)) =)) wish I hadn't now.

We were planting onions in the front garden (facing Waddington pretty much), so I have no idea how she got around us :)) , must have passed quite a way to the south west (along the edge).
We never heard anything, and yet the day before, we heard her displaying at Wickenby from about 12 miles away :))

PA28 posted an apology for the silent Twitter feed over on the VTTS forum - as Twitter account populator, he wasn't told about the flight in advance and was out in the garden mowing his lawn well away from his dead phone at the point someone tried to tell him 558 was airborne and could he post it... =))

Apparently, processes have been tweaked! :)

It's a shame it wasn't announced but if the system has been re jigged that's good. There are always a lot of disappointed people when they miss her flying. No other a/c arouses the interest she does.
