Judging by the (relatively) small amount of of Minty's goodies which originate in Wellesbourne, and the (relatively) massive amount which is in support of the replica operating from Finningley, I think your proposal is aimed at the wrong target, Dan. :p :p :p
Sooty

XM655 has four of them, all serviceable.

I am very addicted to XM655. 'The people's Vulcan' ;)

I am much less interested, these days, in XH558. 'Dr Pleming's Vulcan'

Minty - you know you are welcome at Wellesbourne whenever you can make it to increase your stock of '655 goodies! :D Would be great to see you if you can make it on 17th June next year (but we can always supply by post! ;)) Glad the mug and '655 taxied bear from October have such a good home! :)

I have an excuse for my ever increasing stash of Vulcan related stuff ... it's all for Ben, honest!!

Hmmm, the point here is that all Vulcans flying or taxiing are worthy of support!
However, at this time only one will ever fly. Unfortunately, no one can "Fly" in 558, but thats not our decision its a restriction due to UK air law which has to be adhered to if we are to continue flying ( YES FLYING not taxiing) 558 for the publics enjoyment. until she can no longer fly. I would love to see some of the hugh number of fans like Minty get a ride in 558, but it simply cannot be done, until she ceases to be a "LIVE" aircraft and becomes just another taxiing Tonka toy.

By the way "MOD", 558 is not owned by Robert Pleming or any of us who labour to keep her in the air!! She is owned by you and millions of other Lottery Fund contributers and administered by a Trust, she really is "The Peoples Aeroplane".

Sooty, 558 is not a "replica at Finningley" as you well know, such remarks are purile and none of the Vulcan team would say that about 655!

There's something a little worrying about people who make lists! :-o

I know lists are dangerous (Elf & saftypin) they either make you cringe at what you think you have or maybe want more .

Vulcan support is universal here Got no lists but there are more than 2 out there .558,655 & 426 if they have got her back together yet .I haven't heard for a while must check soon.

I'd just like to say I think ALL existing
Vulcans -- flying, taxying, just sitting
and even the cockpit sections -- are
worthy of support and tender loving
care! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
