Wonderful pics as always, Mackrick. :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

One of them seems to have gone missing. Was it not up to your exacting standards? ;)

One Olympus 301 has twice the power of a complete F1 starting grid.
XM655 has four of them, all serviceable.

You misunderstand me, PA.

The pic I refer to was posted and then removed. ;)

Sorry for the misunderstanding Sooty, but the pics I see were the one's that were there to start with and I cannot see any indication that the post was edited.
So my question would have to be.
Which photograph are we talking about?

If a moderator edits a post it doesn't show like it does when us mere mortals make amendments! ;)

Not exactly, Xpl.

I think the edit record is only displayed if the edit is made AFTER there has been a subsequent post, whether the editor is a moderator or the original poster or both. I'm sure Wedgy will correct if that is wrong. ;)

This is bemusing ... why would there be what I can ony take as a 'No Step' marker (the crossed out footprint) at that particular place - who would - or even could - want to try and stand on the side of the fuselage below the fin :D :D :D
You'd have to be weightless in which case it wouldn't matter :))

Image

Nice big boot though - you could get as lot of shopping in there ;) :p

And this is a caption competition in the making .......... :p

Even more strange as there isn't one on the other side - this is from Mackrick's Filton pictures last week.

If you say so, the mods can also make following posts, another little benefit I guess!

That sort of thing yes, oh by the way, do you want to know why the no step warning is there?

on the starboard side there is usually a rad housing for the ecm and that has the "no step" on it

see 655

http://vulcanxm655.fotopic.net/p59071479.html

i think there should be a duct on close by on the port side, i assume it to say not to use it as toe hold

I think you are correct, Bovril. Len and I were looking at the port side intake duct on Saturday, but I can't remember what it cools - aft-looking radar?

Edit - here's a pic by Mackrick from earlier in the year.
Image
The "No Step" graphic is just below the cooling intake.
