While attending the fantastic Flying Proms at Old Warden on Saturday i spent sometime looking around the fantastic DH88 Comet.
This aircraft is totally unique and won the 1934 race from England to Australia to mark the centenary of the foundation of the state of Victoria.
The aircraft is set to fly again for the first time in 12 years as part of the october airshow and will take place in front of the general public instead of happening behind closed doors
