Is that a catodyoptric lens?

it most certainly is XP............. ;)

I had a Tamron 500mm mirror lens in my manual focus days and found it excellent to use as it was very compact, I even got reasonable results at air shows :D

I have been after one of these for ages ,as my longest lens at the moment is a (22 year old) Sigma 400mm,the 500 should arrive on Thursday \:D/

@RLN, I (we)got it for a great price from ffordes in scotland, I checked on ebay and one was just sold for £100 more than this one

My boy used ffordes a while ago to buy a camera body. He was and still is happy with it.

Gordon

I look forward to seeing some results with this new piece of kit. It should be an awful lot lighter than its conventional equivalent! ;)

Thanks guys

I have bought a couple of lens from ffordes before and I find the service is excellent, you order before 2pm one day and you get it the next and with a limited warranty too.

Hoepfully I shall be giving it some use at the weekend........

watch this space as they say.......... :D
