A Visit to the Y.A.M. at Elvington 17th March 2013

Postby Xplumberlives » Tue Jan 29, 2013 2:18 pm

Ray C. has been trying to raise some interest in a visit to the Yorkshire Aviation Museum at Elvington.

Part of the day would be spent looking around Victor "Lusty Lindy". :D

The NAAFI apparently does a good lunch. ;)

All we want is a small group of about 10 people to make it a viable I.A. day out. :ymapplause:

Please add your name if you would like to come along.

Please feel free to ask questions and or offer/request lifts.

Many thanks

Dave

Those expressing an interest so far are;

1. Ray C.
2. XPL
3. MOD
4. Hula-Hoop
5. Jigsaw

seriously, it'd be nice if a few forumites could make it.Don't forget to dig out some money for Lindy's fuel fund while you're queueing for a look in the cockpit! :D

The NAAFI food is superb, though I'd wait untill Ollie is back down to run the Bucc. I might be a bit bias though.

no need for that; the Bucc will be making plenty of noise in Steve Pepper's capable hands until Ollie returns :)
