Yes regretfully I have to agree, as the 'Guided' tour now seems to be a non-starter, mainly due to the size of the suggested 'donation' but also the lack of interest for either of these venues means that these visits will have to be postponed/cancelled fttb.

I've been waiting for this ;) I think the idea stems from only planning to spend 2 hours on the "GUIDED" tour at NRM!

You can spend a day at Elvington :D :D :D

during the week with some notice, they will usually do a 'guided' tour. however be aware that in the winter they usually hamajorityjourity of their aircraft inside and you can't always see them all.

it is a sight to see though, how they do it is beyond me, they JUSTunfortunatelyortunatly no space for the Victor inside.

I think you need to take more water with it Yorkie!! :))

I would have been interested but have done them both in the last 3 months and have another visit with a local club lined for Elvington but don't know the date yet.

Both venues are well worth a visit.

1st April ;)

they were supposed to fire Lindy up at the weekend, not sure if it happened

if they did, it will get the lovely folk of Elvington moaning about the noise again....

How i would love to be able to fly aircraft in and out of there every day... not even allowed to sneeze there any more without breaching the noise abatememnt order.
