but yesterday they were predicting 302mph winds

.......I knew we'd gone for too many fast food stalls.

Seriously though, if the aircraft achieves its usual 90kts ground speed, we'll be close to 1.0 IMN :))

Looking good so far :) http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/2199?area=CV35

Shall we say 1pm at the MaPS stall? Or will the cupcakes not last that long? :D

Anyone fancy an Iconic Aircraft barbie? I'll bring my Hotspot BBQ and some burger buns/relish/mayo you lot bring your burgers/sausages etc. I'll bring some Brickets. Anyone got a gazebo?? We could set up next to XM665MaPS and invite them to join us around 13.00?

Just a thought.

ibw (Eric,Charles,Roger et al fancy joining us?)

It's down to Wedgy of course for the final decision. ;)

Certainly sounds like a wise use of resources.......

It also wouldn't hurt to chip-in a little something
for MOD's trouble and expense as well.

(Hint! Hint!)

Of course, the Food Vendors won't like it.....

No worries D4th. I owe these guys as this forum helped me through a bad time recently.

I blew off steam and the likes of Sooty got it in the neck. His more than generous response showed me the calibre of the people using this site.

ibw

EDIT this might not be the right thread but the right people are using this thread. ;)

This is me and Luca James Lynton, my first , and so far my only grandson. Taken on the day he was born..

His twin didn't survive. Neither did his other 4 predecessors. 'Shell (we christened her Michelle but nobody uses that name - unless she annoys me ;) ) was at her wit's end and Chris and I were getting very, very worried ...

'Shell had had several ops and hormone therapy and IVFs and eventually Luca was born. Thank - whomsoever!!!

Phew it's good to get that off my chest as this has been overshadowing our lives for the last 5 years.

As a blunt Yorkshireman I would never have dreamed that I would post something so personal as this but somehow I feel that you 'lot' will understand.

Ta muchly ;)
