but, you saw a Typhoon with afterburner and the special Tornado :-o

Yes, but he lives a lot closer than you or I. You would have needed a VERY early start to be there when those pics were taken. ;)

Not impressed that ZJ915 BY was kicking about...i nearly have a pics of the entire RAF Typhoon fleet getting 915 would have taken my total needed from 3 down to 2 gggrrrrrrrrrrrr :( :( :( the others being ZJ940 and 948....one day perhaps :( :( :(

We also went to mildenhall after, but the only action was an Osprey startup (und shut down after) and a Learjet.
i am going through my photos, all 540 of them! When i am done i'll upload here.

I need to look at that been meaning to for a while, how far from the runway is it and do you get a good view? my sister used to live at Scrub Hill in all that time I never thought of looking at 'J'

You cant really get a view of the runway, its good for visiting planes as its next to the VASP, otherwise theres some good views of 11 squadrons toys plus there Lightning, it seems to be the best place for displays though as its more or less central and the sun is behind you, like everyone else yesterday the haze was a pain!!!
