I couldn't believe how quick that person was to get it on there so fast :-o :-o

The cameraman at the bottom is almost chased by one of the wheels :-o

One of the Flying Lizard Porsche's clearly isn't taking it seriously as they were just playing Lady Gaga into one of the cars =)) =))

Jeepers see the way it hung up on the barrier and spun ....
In memory of a very dear friend - Mike Pearson

Very fond memories of Robbie Gilvary - DTs 1st Vulcan Captain who taught DT all he knew.

Glad he's ok :ymapplause:

I'm still listening to the flying lizard feed, and all they were asking was was Rocky ok.

Going to be under caution for at least an hour to fix everything (according to the Flying Lizard radio feed)

If anyone wants to listen.

some useless trivia to while away the hours tonight race began at 1400 our time has completed 7 hours the RML no 36 car has done 480 minutes @ something like 3.75 minutes a lap thats i think 37 miles each if so it has done around 1800 laps and covered 66600 miles at something like 150 -190 miles an hour .stop every 10 laps or so for fuel or tyres or both .

Think i definitely need to get out more ,But hell my sons in that pit so on we go into the night. It is also 9th in class and currently 26 on the road allbe it 9 laps down

Finaally the track repairs are complete and were back to racing .
Mike Rockenfellers sum of injuries after hitting the barrier at 200+MPH is a small cut on his arm .
:ymapplause: to the designer of the Audi's safety cell .

RML car 36 4th in class 12th on the road good race for them and Ben Colins aka known as the stigg did about 5 or 6 hours out of the last 12 or it looked like it on the board will check on that if I remember when son rings. He also did an extended stint during the night .An impresive race by the lone Audi to hold of the peugeots like that for so long ,good result.

Podcast here :). http://audio.rpix.org.uk/lm24/2011/2011_lm24_cd1.mp3
Goto around 14 minutes in, and listen from then on. There is two separate mentions of the Vulcan.
Sound is only on the left channel, due to a production error.
The presenter mentioned the Vulcan again later in the day on the TV coverage :).
