Yep, what Helen Said!

SV has been the most consistent performer since the height of Schuey's powers. Fair play to him and Red Bull!

Yep 15 races, 9 wins, 14 podiums - can't deny he deserves it!!
In memory of a very dear friend - Mike Pearson

Very fond memories of Robbie Gilvary - DTs 1st Vulcan Captain who taught DT all he knew.

No one mentioned this on the BEEB but isn't what Vettel appeared to do at the start of this race a little like what Senna did to Prost at Suzuka 21 years ago?

If Vettel had collided with Button, and they had both been wiped out, then SV would have been crowned Champion at the very start of the race and he would not have had to spend the next 2 hours trying to ensure that he was awarded the 1 point he needed for the crown.

Vettel had nothing to lose by taking out JB. Which in my eyes puts him up there with Mansell, Senna and Shumacher as a great World Champion, as they all had that same 'Killer Instinct'.

Great drive JB but Vettel is a very worthy Champion. :ymapplause:

Ian you may have a point about the incident in todays race and I'm damn sure you're right about the "KILLER" instinct of those three, they all have/had big heads too! ;)

I just think their mirrors are too small, Lewis said his were (couldn't see anything in them), Seb was looking right right into his morror, yet some how missed JB (literally).

With the exception of "what a horrible noise" the mirrors were one of the few things she noticed when we saw the Lotus at Duxford :))

My mum could probably do a better job =)) =))

So the proposed changes to the technical regulations for 2012 are............................

Make them quieter and fit bigger mirrors. :-o :)) :))
Sooty

One Olympus 301 has twice the power of a complete F1 starting grid.
XM655 has four of them, all serviceable.

I heard the bit about Hamiltons mirrors shaking about so much he could not see (wifes cousin designs those cars) I bet his ears hurt with the verbal he would have got, if they shook that much that time why not before .Do you need mirrors to see whats beside you ?????

Reason in there why I normaly make no coments on F1
