Sooty

One Olympus 301 has twice the power of a complete F1 starting grid.
XM655 has four of them, all serviceable.

12:30 CET is one hour ahead of us, so it happened at 11:30 am.
New website (link above) goes live at 2:00 pm over here.
Launch replay is at http://www.launch.lotusrenaultgp.com/ on now.

Edit to correct wrong launch time for website #-O.

Everything about all the new cars/drivers is a disappointment for me :(

My favourite underdog team was Lotus last year, now there are 2 teams squabling over the rights
My favourite underdog driver was Senna last year, now he's joint 'third driver' at Renualt Lotus Lotus Renualt whatever they're called :(

It does look well, much like the JPS, that car was the biz.

Agree - Merc wasn't nice last year either. For me, as long as McLaren keep the chrome and rocket red ... they will be the nicest livelry year on year :)

Now this was a Lotus that looked and sounded superb. Nice plumbing.

Some great photography here as well

I'd love to know what CC would have thought of today's 'Lotus'?

I was lucky enough to have seen Jimmy Clark racing Graham Hill, but unfortunately not in F1 but in Lotus Cortina Mk1s.. I still think he was the best ever but who knows?
