Briatore's got away with it. That does it for me and F1. They cheat as much as Chelsea.

Sorry but the decision is no real surprise!

The small mouthed teutonic GIT re-enters the sport as controversially as he left X( X(

Never a truer word spoken ....
Another criticism of the Kerpen native is that his true place in history has never been able to be fully and accurately gauged by dint of his refusal to go head-to-head in the same team with a driver considered to be at a similar level to him, with some surmising that his retirement at the end of 2006 was precipitated by the fact that he was unwilling to compare himself against the incoming Kimi Raikkonen at Ferrari, who Luca di Montezemolo was bringing into the Scuderia come what may.

http://www.crash.net/f1/news/156287/1/angry_schumacher_rejects_claims_he_doesnt_race_fair.html

AND - he wangles himself to number 3 over his new team mate after throwing his toys out of his pram about even numbers - http://www.crash.net/f1/news/156183/1/schumacher_car_number_swap_request_granted_by_fia.html
what superstitious nonsense - he just gets one higher in the list on his return.

Agree with this - http://www.crash.net/f1/news/156168/1/coulthard_schumacher_will_be_as_ruthless_as_ever.html
he takes no prisoners to get to the front no matter what devastation he leaves in his wake -
most notably in deliberately running into Williams title rivals Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve in the deciding races in 1994 and 1997 respectively

I'm looking forward to it

we now have:
Hamilton
Button
Schumacher
Vettel
Raikkonen
Massa

all after the title, I think this is going to be a really good year for F1, because any of those drivers could win.

Teutonic small mouthed Git puts a brave face on - but is surprised at the launch of the new Mercedes GP car that budget cuts seem to have put paid to his chances of a World Championship - he realises he needs to lose some serious weight - very quickly :ymdevil: :ymdevil:

He is also concerned to see a big white funnel on the car - he fears this may indicate that the new 2010 fuel regulations mean that he will be shovelling coal for the duration of the whole race for the new high performance steam engine =)) =))

Team lineups coming together on the BBC Website now :)

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/drivers_and_teams/default.stm

Should this thread stay as one thread, or should we create a new one for the new season? I can't decide ~x(

Is it getting to long if so it might be a good idea to do an F1 thread and maybe make this one read only if that was possible.

There are 3 seasons in this thread, back end of 2008 the whole of 2009 and the pre-talk for 2010.
I can easily split them if people agree.

Ok clever clogs - so you deem that from here is the start of the 2010 season then - MMmmmm methinks there are quite a few posts referring to and about the 2010 season that you've left behind :D :p
