Full retracts

Flaps and spoilers

Flys indoors beautifully

Weight ................ 2 8 5 g - that's 10 ounces - less than 2/3rds of 1lb :-o

There's got to be helium in there somewhere ;) :p

At 1:22 scale, fuselage diameter is 0.26 m.
Fuselage volume =Πd²l/4 =0.11m³.
The air inside would weigh 132g
Helium inside would weigh 19g, saving 113g
Hydrogen inside would weigh 10g, saving 122g

Even a vacuum inside would only save 132g. If that were the case, letting air in would only take it to 417g, still less than one pound and still VERY impressive. :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

I guess being so big and so light, flying outdoors would be somewhat impractical. :-?

BTW, 10oz is less than 2/3 of a pound. :p

just watched vi, very nice, take a look at 3.09 it looks like its inflatable , so helium etc

There is no helium- it was a joke ... for 40+ years my mate and I have been joking that his planes are made of helium and mine are made of church roof :D :p
