Hello,
Some of you may have caught a report on BBC TV News concerning the London Borough of Bromley's intention to demolish part of the Biggin Hill St George's RAF Chapel of Remembrance and replace it with an ugly square building which will become the long awaited Battle of Britain Museum. The plans for a mini 'Duxford' type building that would take large artifacts has been pushed aside, even though it would have cost probably less. The planned 'Box' it seems will only have photos, video displays and small items. The Vestry is to be demolished, it is a large (70 sq metres) 'Craftsmans' built brick building, elegantly housing the Air Crew Association stained glass window.
