I'm sorry, I'll posh it up a bit for you...
I am, surely, correct in assuming that you consumed ones vessels of wine by the method of speedily pouring the vino, directly into ones throat, in as short a time as possible, so as not to cause wastage of ones fermented grape beverage?

What an inspired and novel solution to a difficult situation Gaz ,only problem is I,who has seen the bottom of many a bottle of vin. couldn't face two ( albeit small ) bottles of wine at 07.30 on a damp and dismal Sunday morning ! seriously though I really don't know what the problem was ,the cadet who done the confiscating just mumbled something about rules and as I was with family I didn't want to make a fuss and spoil the day .I did moan about it on the feedback form thing but didn't receive any answer ! I reckon the volunteers all grab a few bottles of wine here, bottle of scotch there, maybe a carafe or three and all have a jolly up at the end of the day
ps I'm only Yvonne at the weekend

That's the problem with your generation: Too much class!
I'd have downed them there and then just to shock the little oik!
