Tangmere

We are on holiday in the New Forest at the moment and today we went to the museum at Tangmere - all I can say is what a brilliant little museum - very well thought out and very well maintained.

Thoroughy enjoyed the time there and talked to some really interesting characters - the (mostly elderly) volunteers ;) - who were only too pleased to talk about the museum and its exhibits.

Got to go on the Lightning cockpit simulator too - and according to the chap in charge I got 98% :D :p Very good exhibit that - really enjoyed it ;)

Its a shame all the old Tangmere buildings are gone - and all the runways - progress is a bu??er sometimes :(

Would recommend it to anyone though :D :D
